On the April club trip to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, we found what looks like an old stolen Hollywood street sign replanted in the middle of nowhere. Now if we can just find Pico and Sepulveda out here....

April 19 on Mt. Baden-Powell

I climbed 9400' Mt Baden-Powell today on a trail that was nearly snow-free. Here's the view looking across at Mt Baldy. There are probably people standing on the summit over there today, too.

Hiking Club March 28 Dayhike

Our March outing in Santa Anita Canyon was attended by 16, for what was about as close to the perfect hike as could be, if there could be a perfect hike.  We hiked the ten mile Mt Zion loop, our first time in about four years now, and a good time was had by all.
