Chicago

Paul and I drove from Grand Rapids MI down to our hometown of Wheaton again this year, and took Bry and Maria. Overnighted there, then spent today in Chicago at the Adler Planetarium. Here's a pic of us having lunch, with the Chicago skyline behind. It was a bright sunny day outside, quite a nice visit.

Being tourists in Chicago this summer we somehow missed the Wheaton stop. (but I DID get to see Paul in GR). How's the old neighborhood holding out?

Wheaton looks good, as does the old neighborhood. The trees are certainly quite a bit more mature than in the late 60's! Oh, and since we left the residents seem to have replaced all their clunky 60's cars with much newer ones. Go figure that!

Looking good, Son. Great pics to peruse through. You've been to a lot more places than I thought. I need to stop chopping you and talking about things that get soiled, and discuss the value of destinations.
